Meet Magic Fiddelman. Magic is a beautiful 12 year old Labrador Retriever. Magic has been one of our best friends for many years. Magic is so happy to check in that she always comes behind the counter to say "I'm Here"  & to say hello to everyone right away. Whenever Magic stays with us she gets to enjoy private playtimes with us outside in our fenced in play yard and gets to depart with a nice scrubbed bubble bath.

Pet of the Week

These two beautiful Golden Retrievers are Haley & Chloe Madigan. They are just six years old and full of love and energy. When the girls come and stay with us they love when their owners sign them up for our Dapper Doggy Package. The package allows the girls to have a one on one play session & cuddletime daily as well as a yummy doggie ice cream. And after a funfilled stay the girls enjoy a relaxing day at the spa.

Best Friends Pet Care Donates Hair For Oil Spill

A non-profit organization called Matter of Trust is asking for hair donations. With the collected clean & matt free hair they will create hair matts & hair booms out of recycled hair and nylon. These hair matts & hair booms will be placed into the water where it will soak up the oil  that has contaminated the water. Once Best Friends has collected enough hair each week we will be shipping it to the volunteers from Matter of Trust. You can help us succeed in this challenge by bringing in a bag of clean & matt free hair from home or by scheduling an appointment with us at Best Friends Pet Care of Harrison, NY. Pet First Aid Training

When most people own an animal its more then just a dog or cat its a family member. An emergency can occur at any time and its important that you know how to help your pet until you can get them to a vet clinic. The American Red Cross of  Westchester located in White Plains is holding Pet First Aid Training. The program is offering CPR, first aid skills & how to notice life threatening issues.
