Best Friends Pet Care Donates Hair For Oil Spill

A non-profit organization called Matter of Trust is asking for hair donations. With the collected clean & matt free hair they will create hair matts & hair booms out of recycled hair and nylon. These hair matts & hair booms will be placed into the water where it will soak up the oil  that has contaminated the water. Once Best Friends has collected enough hair each week we will be shipping it to the volunteers from Matter of Trust. You can help us succeed in this challenge by bringing in a bag of clean & matt free hair from home or by scheduling an appointment with us at Best Friends Pet Care of Harrison, NY. Meet Biscuit Andolina. Biscuit is a 3 1/2 year old Toy Yorkie. Biscuit is always so sweet and happy to see everyone. Biscuit loves to hang out with his friends at the front desk

and run circles around them when ever he's not cuddling with them.

This stunning sweet boy is Andrew Rubenfeld. Andrew is a 5 1/2 year old American Eskimo. Andrew has been a best friend of ours since 2005. Andrew always comes in so excited to see us as we are just as thrilled to see him. Andrew enjoys getting pet a lot, playtimes and giving kisses. After a funfilled stay with us Andrew loves to wrap up his visit with a relaxing grooming service.

This beautiful 10 year old Labrador is Casey Rubenstein. Casey has been a best friend of ours for many years. He enjoys boarding in our standard suites with his private twenty foot outside patio. Casey also enjoys regular private playtimes in our huge fully fenced in play yard.

Pet of the Week

This handsome 1 year old Labrador boy is Ernie Lange. Ernie has been a best friend of ours since he was about 6 months old. Ernie enjoys running around in his private outside patio near his neighbors. Ernie's loving parents also sign him up for private playtimes with us in our huge fully fenced in outdoor play yard. At playtime Ernie likes to run around chasing toys and has a blast! After a fun filled stay with us Ernie likes to wrap up his stay with a relaxing bubble bath.

This weeks Pet of the Week is very special for us because Scooch needs a home! Scooch has been a best friend of ours for about six years. Scooch is an 8 1/2 years old pitbull who is so very sweet and loving. Scooch loves to play and loves attention from people. Scooch's owner sadly passed away and his guardian is boarding him with us until we can find him a home. Please consider coming to meet this great dog.

Meet our friend Daisy, a cutie of a Maltese. Daisy is almost 5 years old and has been coming to us since 2005. She loves to come and visit us for the weekends and is always happy to run circles around us. Daisy is very sweet and so loving.

Totally Cute Tuesday! Singapore Zoo Has a Baby Orangutan!

This little baby Bornean Orangutan is the cutest!  Saloma is six months old and looks like she has just rolled out of bed in this photo!  She is at the Singapore Zoo with Mom Binti, so I figured I would share this with you (since most of us won't be going to Singapore any time soon).  Enjoy!

Sydney the baby otter is the cutest little thing you will ever see.  In this video he jumps around, plays with toys and makes you smile!  I love Sydney!
