This cute little story almost brought tears to my eyes.  It's about Riccochet the service dog, her fall-backs and her triumphs.  Whenever things don't go as planned, remember Riccochet, and think.. everything happens for a reason.  What a great story!

Totally Cute Tuesday!! Wolf's Guenon Monkey Born at the Bronx Zoo

Jordan and Gigi are lucky parents of this little baby girl born earlier in December.  This family of monkey's can be seen at the Bronx Zoo's Congo Gorilla Forest.  Wolf's Guenons are native to the Congo River in the central part of Africa.  This type of monkey can be very talkative with a wide range of calls used to communicate with eachother.  (Photos courtesy of Zooborns.com and Bronx Zoo)

While you are visiting the baby Wolf's Guenon this winter- don't miss out on the Salute to Wildlife Ice Carving Competition on December 27th presented by the Food Network.  Master's in Ice Sculpture will be creating beautiful animals with chainsaws, ice picks and more.  Should be a treat!
